The Firm was established on February 2002 when lawyers, Atty. Bertrand A. Baterina, Atty. Ismael R. Baterina and Atty. Sheree Nerpio-Casals, who were then working in the private and public sectors, decided to carve a niche in the practice of law within the Philippines. The Firm commenced its operations on March 2002.
